blush or bronzer, that is the question

Lately I have noticed many girls trying to keep the bronzer, even though summer is over.  Yes it is sad, but that means we can now play with blush!  Fact: everyone loves blush!  Girls, now that blush is in season, that does not allow us to layer it on and end up looking like we are in an opera.  When you pick out you blush, remember your own skin tone and what looks natural with it.  A really good rule of thumb is pinch your cheeks, and that is your blush color.  I am a full believer in powder blushes because it goes well on any type of skin, but there are many other types of blush.  There are creams for dry skin, gel for oily skin, and shimmer for youthful plump skin.  The shimmer should really only be used for night and really special occasions, but do with that as you will.  Another point is girls with lighter skin should be a little more conservative with how much pigment they put on their cheeks.  For you, a little goes a long way.  Girl who a little more darker complected should try to put a little more color on their cheeks because the color has to work a little harder to be seen well.  To all girls, step away from the mirror about 4 or 5 steps and see how natural your blush color looks.  If you do put a little too much blush on, don't worry.  If you put on powder blush, just dust on some face powder and the color will be turned down.  If you put on cream blush, put a dab of liquid foundation on top and really blend it in.  Another thing to remember is proper placement.  Put the most blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend it out.  remember to blend it out because if you don't, you could look like a clown,  Tip: smile while you put on your blush, you will never miss your apples this way.  Good luck with your new tools and have fun.
